right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information
when you use our mobile application (the "App").
By accessing or using Savr, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage,
use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide to us directly and information that is automatically collected when
you use the App.
A. Personal Data
When you register or update your profile, we may collect:
- Identity Data: Name, Username, Profile Picture.
- Contact Data: Email address, Phone number.
- Authentication Data: Password (stored in encrypted format) or social login tokens
(Google/Apple Sign-In).
B. Device & Location Data
- Geolocation: We collect your precise location (GPS) to provide core features such as
finding "Nearest Restaurants," enabling "Check-ins," and verifying your presence at a venue for
gamification rewards. You can disable this in your device settings, but some features may not work.
- Device Info: Device model, operating system, IP address, and unique device identifiers.
C. User-Generated Content (UGC)
- Reviews & Comments: Text, ratings, and tags you submit about restaurants.
- Photos: Images of food or venues you upload from your camera or gallery.
- Community Activity: Questions you ask, answers you provide, and your participation in
tribes.
Note: User-Generated Content is public and visible to other users of the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To create your account, display restaurants near you, and process
your reviews.
- Gamification: To calculate your Points, User Level, and Leaderboard ranking based on
your activity.
- Personalization: To recommend restaurants and Communities/Tribes based on your
preferences.
- Communication: To send you updates, security alerts, and notifications about replies to
your posts (you can opt-out of marketing communications).
- Safety: To moderate content and ban users violating our Terms of Use.
4. Permissions We Request
Depending on your device, we may request the following permissions:
- Location (While in Use): To find nearby places and enable Check-ins.
- Camera & Photo Library: To allow you to upload food photos and update your profile
picture.
- Notifications: To alert you about interactions (likes, replies) and app updates.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following situations:
- Publicly: Your username, profile photo, level, badges, and reviews are visible to other
users.
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services for us (e.g., Google
Maps API for mapping, Firebase for authentication and database hosting, AWS/Cloudinary for image
storage).
- Legal Obligations: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by
public authorities.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at
any time.
- How to delete: Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account inside the App. or from the web app savor.bond/#/deleteaccount
- Consequence: Your profile, points, and personal data will be permanently removed. Your
public reviews may remain but will be anonymized (attributed to "Deleted User").
7. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we
have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that
information as quickly as possible.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
